He says that the science and art he enjoys in his spare time helps him be a better attorney. What also helps, of course, is his law degree. Todd Levine is a 1988 graduate of the University of Florida. After earning his degree there in finance he attended the Florida Levin College of Law, completing his studies in 1991.
His ability to successfully manage complex lawsuits has resulted in him being honored a few times. US News and World Report named him as the winner of the Best Lawyer Award for Real Estate Legislation in 2018. He has been recognized by other publications as well such as the South Florida Business Journal and Super Lawyers Business Revie.
Todd Levine says that during the early years of his career as an attorney he was assigned a very complex case involving a real estate deal. He discovered that it was something he could excel at as he could reframe arguments in a way that made more sense to judges and juries. He decided to make this form of litigation the basis of his career.
Every day brings something new when you’re handling complex legal cases, Todd Levine says. He might be at a trial in West Palm Beach one day and taking a witness’ deposition the next in downtown Fort Lauderdale. He says due to the mobility of doing his job he will take a call no matter where he is.
